Impressive Giltwood carved eagle on verde Antico Fluted Marble Column

A superb and richly carved giltwood eagle perched on rocks with open wings, the eagle’s head looking to its left and fitted with a separate giltwood wreath, studded with malachite and agate cabochons. The eagle raised on a tall 19th century Verde Antico marble column.
